Wendy’s Chili Recipe Ingredients

First, you know which ingredients we need and how much we have to take. Gather all the ingredients listed in this list in one place.

  • Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
  • Ground beef (2 pounds)
  • Chopped Stalks celery (2)
  • Chopped Onion (1)
  • Chopped green bell pepper (1)
  • Cans stewed tomatoes (390 grams)
  • Can tomato sauce (390 grams)
  • Green chilis with a can of diced tomatoes (280 grams)
  • Water (1 cup)
  • Chili seasoning packages like as McCormick® Mild Chili Seasoning Mix (35 grams)
  • kidney beans undrained (390 grams)
  • Pinto beans undrained (390 grams)
  • Ground black pepper and salt (as much as you want for taste)
  • White vinegar (1 tablespoon or as much as you want for taste)

Cooking Process

Now let’s go through the step-by-step process of making chili that tastes like Wendy’s chili.

Step 1

First, take a large pot and add olive oil to it. Let the oil heat up on a medium-high heat. When the oil heats up well, add the ground beef in it. Press the beef well on top so that it forms a big patty. Cook it well for 8 to 10 minutes so that it starts to brown on the bottom.

Step 2

When your ground beef meat is brown, break it into pieces and cook for another five minutes until it starts to turn pink.

Step 3

When your ground beef is pink, add the Stir celery, onion, and bell pepper in it. Mix and then cook for another five minutes until your onion starts to turn translucent.

Step 4

After cooking for 5 minutes, add Pour in stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce,  diced tomatoes with green chiles, and add a cup of water and start cooking. You will break the big pieces of tomato during cooking. 

Step 5

After cooking them for 1 to 2 minutes, you will add Chili seasoning, kidney beans, and Pinto beans. After adding all these things you will add ground black pepper and salt according to your taste.

Step 6

Then let it boil well, when you see a good boil then reduce the heat and let it boil on low heat for an hour.

Step 7

After an hour of cooking on low heat, take it off and your chili is ready. You will taste like you are eating Wendy’s chili. Whenever you serve chili to someone, as usual, add vinegar to it according to his desire.
